Zagreb is the capital of the Republic of Croatia. It is a town which is likable with its greenery, and tidy streets.

The architecture of the city can be compared with Central European towns as Vienna, Maribor or Prague are.

Present Zagreb has developed from two medieval settlements. The first written document of the city dates from 1094 when a diocese was founded on Kaptol.
